New progress in oxygen-free heating technology of NSCs of China Tobacco

The patented technology developed by China Tobacco – the unique NSCs oxygen-free heating technology, is that the tobacco heating area naturally produces smoke under low oxygen conditions, diffuses to the oxygen area, and then extracts the smoke through air intake circulation. HNB is bottom air intake, and NSC is a “deoxygenated heating” with a sealed bottom and airflow channel.
According to relevant reports, NSC products have entered the small-scale mass production stage, and the 1,000th set of official products has been offline in mid-December 2022.

Relevant units have conducted a large number of comparative studies on HNB and NSC.

From the comparison of the results, the release efficiency of each basic component in the NSC conformation has been improved. At the same time, in addition to the basic components, NSC has a difference of more than 11 times in other components compared with HNB. From the existing research results, the NSC conformation is a powerful attempt to achieve the “easy to smoke” and “harm reduction” of heated cigarettes under low temperature conditions, and better reflect the taste of tobacco in heated cigarettes.
